Baby formula question

Hi everyone I have a question hopefully someone can relate my one month old baby is drinking formula (long story) I took him to the doctor and she said to feed him 4oz since he is such a big baby. He was on similar baby sensitive but he kept getting colics so we had to change it. Now he is on similar alimentum and he is doing a lot better. But he's been drinking 2oz goes to sleep and wakes up 2hours later hungry and drinks again. I mentioned it to the doctor and she didn't seem to mind. Can anyone relate?
