Who Makes It Successful?

I’m having a discussion with a friend of mine who is a host for a bar every Friday. I also know the dj’s quite well and he claims that he shouldn’t have to put them on the flier they do every week (it’s the same two dj’s since they started this) and have been on them every week until now. I say it’s disrespectful and that they should receive more credit for what they do. Without music, you won’t have an audience or a crowd. What do you all think?

If the music isn't what I want to hear,  I leave.  I can deal with a crappy bar tender, and while the promoter is important to get the word out, they dont make or break the night. Its all in the music!

Dj because that's what draws the crowd, but also needs to be advertised because if people don't know there is DJ they may not come or draw new people in.
