Nursery?!

How far along is everyone in putting together their Nursery for their little one? I am due early November and it's not even close to being finished 😅

Our lease expires right around the time the babies will arrive! We are not crazy about the idea of moving early, so we'll extend the lease for a few months. But we are not staying here long term, so don't see how it makes sense to set up a nursery. Babies are going to be in our room for the first 5-6 months anyway, so we are not stressing out :) Oh, and we are not getting cribs, we are going the floor bed route - works better for our lifestyle. So this makes it easier too. We did buy a clothes storage system that we'll eventually stick into a closet when we move, but it'll work as is for now. Neither my husband, nor I are fans of traditional nursery furniture, so everyone who wants to see the babies' room is up for a big surprise 😂

I'm due 11/21 and we haven't started yet. The nursery will be painted in the next few weeks and we are paying off all the furniture from babies r us. I have stuff from a friend that's just sitting in the living room lol

Mine is still an empty room.. BUT we are starting to take out all the baby items this weekend and clean them all up and Hubby is going to paint the room! I'm so excited. I asked him if we could have it all ready to show off before our daughters birthday party in August.. Haha. I'm lucky he loves me 😇

We have painted, and set up the furniture. I have been going through the boxes of saved baby stuff from my son. I now need to wash everything! No decorating has been done as of yet!

We have our mock nursery set up. So far all we have is the crib, mattress, and dresser. We call it mock nursery because all of its going to be moved closer to our room once the baby shower is over. We know people will want to see the "baby room" and we don't want people in our bedroom lol!

I put the boxes of flooring in there. That's as far as I have gotten. My best friend comes up from Georgia this week and her husband is going to help us paint :)

We've cleared out the room (it was previously our guest bedroom/storage) and ordered furniture, it doesn't resemble anything close to a nursery yet other than the stacks of diapers and wipes that we've started stocking up on. It should look more like a baby lives there in August.

I have nothing yet. I'm waiting on a bunk bed delivery for my twins and am gonna take one of their cribs for this baby and sell the other. The twins are 4 and definately are overdue for a bigger bed. Once that happens I'll start getting the rest of the stuff. The baby will be in our room until we get a bigger house. Right now we're in a 3 bed room townhome.
