best friends drama

I'm bi (around 90% women, 10% men) and in college. My roommate is dating a really cool guy and he basically lives with us. Seriously, he was in his own dorm maybe twice last semester. We're really close (honestly a little too close) and both of them are my best friends.

Well, now its summer. He lives an hour away, and she lives three hours in the opposite direction. Life has been really rough for him lately, so I have been going to see him as often as possible.

Her family is crazy and sees anyone who is close to her as a threat. Especially her boyfriend and I.
