breast milk vs formula

My baby is in the NICU and for me to get my supply that he has there Back to where it needs to be without me struggling with it he will need supplemented with formula for 3 feeds which I really do not like to do personally because it makes him throw up every time. What would you do? Just let him have the 3 feeds so he won't have to be supplimented anymore or make the trip to the hospital a couple times a day (30 min drive from my home) ?? thank you mommas 😓
