Outfits for baby?

Question

I know hospitals provide clothing for the new babies, but I want to bring my own. What type clothing are you other mommies taking to put your babies in? Onesies, sleepers, other?

hospitals in southern cali do not provide any take home outfits. you are given a long sleeve tshirt but that is supposed to be left behind. I'm pack 2 outfit.            1 newborn pj set and 1--- 0-3 month pj set. my 1st was 21 inch longs n didn't fit in newborn so I pack extra size :) good luck .

Onesies and sleepers for in hospital. Going home outfit is a cute little newborn dress. Has a cardigan but she may not need it. It's hot and I'm due mid August.

I'm not going to take a punch of sleepers cos he will have all those ankle bracelets on. I will pack one just incase he wears it home.

I'm packing two outfits in Nb & 0-3 months is summer so is hot & humid, a short sleeve onesie, pants & a headband ( is a girl) I'm not packing socks since is hot but I'm incase bringing a sleeper with footies as extra. The hospital provides the baby with a shirt & swaddle while in hospital but for pictures & going home I want our own

i'm due september 10th but i think he'll get here between late august & sometime before the 10th. i was thinking about packing some sleepers, regular onesies....maybe a long sleeve onesie cause it's always cold in the hospital. but his coming home outfit is either a Nike outfit that says "I have arrived" it's long sleeves with little jogger pants. & an orange onesie that says "i just did 9 months on the inside" depending on the weather in NC when we get discharged. 
FTM so i don't really know what to pack just yet lol

I'm packing a couple sleepers and his take home outfit that is long sleeved (late September baby) but if he seems comfy in hospital clothes, I might leave him in those until the take home outfit.
