are we ever ready for a baby ?😣

so im 24 i go to college and have a full time job I want a baby but i feel like i'm too broke for a baby I mean i still live with my parents .i do have a boyfriend of 3 years i don't really know if he's ready either because he never mentions it  we do have unprotected sex and i'm not on birth control so if it happens unexpectedly then i guess we will be ready but does everyone just do that? like they aren't ready at all but THINGS happen and they Have to be ready no matter what now because a baby is inside them? i don't know it's something to think about

You need to discuss this with your partner because if you get pregnant and then you find out he doesn't want kids... it could lead to a very messy situation.
I was on the mini pill, however I fell pregnant. My own pregnancy was a surprise and not timed well as I started university and was in the way of moving out of home and finishing my job. 
I think this led me to have no enjoy my pregnancy and cause another depressive episode.

I think you should be thinking of your parents in the situation of you live with them. They'll be supporting you AND your baby and they should know about that before it happens. Maybe when you get your own place and are financially stable. You also need to speak with your partner and make sure he's on board so you aren't caught in a situation where he doesn't want to be a parent and it's too late. Your age isn't really a factor. I'm 25 and just had a baby, but I have been living on my own for years and have two jobs. I also planned the baby with my fiancé.

I think you have to at least be financially able to support yourself before having a baby. You guys don't even live together, i feel like that should be a conversation before the should we have a baby conversation.
