Skyla Inserted Today 😔

So.... I was told that when I got the Skyla inserted, that I would get numbing cream inserted before hand.

I was told wrong.

My midwife was like "We're just gonna dilate your cervix some so we can put it in." Yeah, that was a great reminder of what labor pains feel like. Afterwards, she told me I was bleeding a little, and got silver nitrate to stop the bleeding. When it was all over, I sat up and there was blood on the table, the floor, on her. Embarrassing. She said that much blood is rare, though.

My husband didn't come with me, so I drove home feeling like I was in labor again. I've been having constant cramping since. Someone please tell me this is good birth control and worth it. 😫

Call me a wuss, but geez. I need a sick day from the real world.
