Would you be hurt or feel bad??

so I have a co-worker that I like as a friend a lot. she has helped with a lot of stuff and to show her how much I appreciate her and what she has done for me I bought her and her kids an inflatable pool since its so hot and she said her kids have been wanting one. Well she said thank you, but will not take it. I can't take it back either because I no lo her have the receipt and because it was discounted. so I no longer have a use for it. I don't have kids or a yard to use it. My dog will eat it in half a second. But it really just kinda Burt my feelings. I tried to do something nice and got it thrown back in my face. would you be hurt or feel bad?
