Folliculitis

Has anyone baby or child ever had this? I don't know if it's what is going on with my son or not, just theorizing. At first I thought they were some kind of bug bite, but not mosquito for sure. Now he keeps getting them and I know he's not getting bit that much because there are times when we've been inside and one pops up. They start out red around the bump and then end up looking like an infected hair/ingrown hair. most of them are near his hair line on his head or scalp, but there have been ones on hand, leg, arm. He hasnt been scratching them or anything. Doesnt look rash like, just the isolated bumps. Idk I'm so confused. Since they don't seem to be bothering him currently I'm planning to ask about at his well check in a couple weeks.
