When did you have your baby's ears pierced

For those with baby girls and piercings, what age do you recommend doing it?

At 4 months. Would have had them done at birth if it was allowed where I live. But it's still early enough

I watched a baby have their ears pierced on TV the other day and why in my personal opinion would you wish to put your baby through that unecesary pain and discomfort all for your own vanity and fashion likes. I was all for ear piercing until i saw this programme and the days after of baby crying in discomfort. Put me clean off. When the child is old enough to know and choose for his/herself , also understand the pain, discomfort and cleaning/ hygiene process. Im not against ear piercing so please no hate comments because its your child/baby you decide but this is just my personal opinion.

2 months old with both my girls. Never had any issues with pulling or infections, would do it over again too! 😍

When she was 2 she asked and didn't even cry! I'm waiting till my second baby asks too!
