How to lose weight with PCOS???
A week before getting married I was put on nexplanon for birth control (I can't have have any other kind for health reasons). I was 120 pounds. I did not change my eating or lifestyle habits but in a matter of 14 months I went up to 199 pounds. So I took the nexplanon out last September and started trying to lose weight. I portion controlled, I ate way healthier, I drank lots more water, cut out a LOT of pop (I was drinking about 128 ounces of Mountain Dew a day and now only drink one twelve ounce can a day to help curb migraines), I go to the gym, walk 2-6 miles daily (on top of all the walking and running at work-I'm a CNA in a hospital), play softball, and I still can't break 195!!! It's just so discouraging because I'm trying so hard and I turn down so many foods and lazy days in hopes of improving but to no avail. And it's not even about just the numbers on the scale anymore. Since gaining all this weight my heart problems have been aggravated along with my sleep apnea, migraines, and arthritis. I just want to be healthy again. So any constructive advice will be greatly appreciated.
Just to give you an idea, here's before and after pics of the nexplanon.
