Possibly Pregnant w/ PCOS?
Hi ladies! I hope it's okay for me to post this here...
I was diagnosed 6 years ago with PCOS. In 2013 I got the nexplanon implant, and had it removed one year later. I hated it because I had no periods and it just didn't feel right. Fast forward to last year, and I started having them again (but BARELY- mainly spotting for a few days and then nothing for 4-6 months), so in April I decided to get on a low-estrogen pill. WORST IDEA EVER. I was having horrible, hemorrhaging periods lasting 15+ days, every two weeks (so on for over two weeks, off for just under 2 weeks, on again). Last month I decided enough was enough so I didn't take it again. I'm due for my period according to when I would've stated via my placebo pills today, but so far nothing.
However, for the past two weeks, I have been having nausea on-and-off, severe dizziness, headaches, diarrhea, and just an overall feeling of "bleh". I will say that since April I've had a weird thing going on with my ear (one day I heard a "pop" in my ear, followed by ringing, and then diminished hearing ever since, but the docs can't figure out why, and say my eardrum is fine, so idk if that's a reason for the dizziness or not... I haven't had it for the last three months so idk why it's just starting now). Hubs and I don't use protection, but because I never know when I'm ovulating, I have no idea if we had sex on one of those days or not.
In your ladies' experience with PCOS and pregnancy, did anyone experience things like this? Because I've never been pregnant and have been told I probably can't due to the PCOS, Ive learned to default that "no, you're not pregnant", but either way I have a prescheduled doc appt with my obgyn Wednesday so I'll probably have her do a blood test if I haven't had AF yet.
