Okay so literally yesterday at work I was sexually harassed.. I am a waitress and our head chef is a 40+ year old man that has three kids!! I was on my lunch and one of my coworkers and I were talking about how she wants a baby and the chef, we will call him Dick, walks in and jumps into our convo.

He told us "don't ever have kids they ruin your life" and I was like "no I want kids" and he was like "go get pregnant then" and I was like "that's would cost a lot for me" and he looked sorry when I said that and he said "oh shit can you not have children?" And I just laughed because that was not what I meant - I'm lesbian and my girlfriend and I want to adopt when the time is right so that's why I said it would be expensive.

So he was like "what??" And I told him "I don't like men so I have to put money into having my own child." For some reason he felt the need to smile really big and tell me "Oh you're my kind of girl, hot and a woman lover." So I'm sitting there eating my quinoa salad and I freeze when he says that because it's what all gross men have said to me my entire life.

I ignored the comment but he still continued, saying "You should come over some time. I have this girl that would really like you. She has big ass tits." At this point I'm pissed and I look him in the eyes and said "no thanks I'm in a relationship" and GUESS WHAT HE SAYS!!!! "Oh bring her too, we can make it a party" Shocker right??

I didn't say anything to that comment, I still have 15 minutes left on my lunch and I was just trying to enjoy my damn salad. But he continued and was like "what you're not into that?" to which I simply say "no." Keep in mind that my coworker is sitting right next to me as all of this is happening and she hasn't said anything bc you can tell she is extremely uncomfortable.

But of course, Dick decides to continue to try and persuade me to take myself and my girlfriend over to his place. I ended up having enough of it and got up, even though my lunch wasn't over. I went back out to work and threw away my half eaten salad 🙄 just so I could get away from him.

Before he left to go home, he made it a point to say bye to me and give me a wink while saying "see you Wednesday." That made me uncomfortable bc he's never said bye to me before and he actually took time to check my schedule to see when I worked again.

A different coworker of mine - who is like an older brother to me - saw this and was like "Dick is like that sometimes. He has no filter and I usually just take his stupid comments with a grain of salt" I was like "yeah I can tell, he made some pretty bad comments to me" and my coworker said "yeah he's like that. I would just brush it off unless it was something that really bothered you."

So now I don't know what to do. Because part of me wants to fucking file a complaint against him because I feel extremely uncomfortable to go into work tomorrow. But part of me doesn't know if I should wait it out and see if he makes more comments to me, bc maybe it was a one time thing. My girlfriend says I should go to my manager tomorrow and tell him everything but he is our head chef... people literally spend a shit ton of money bc his name is on our food. But I also can't help but feel pain for other girls that have probably felt uncomfortable because of him.

What you think I should do??
