Painful sex after ectopic pregnancy surgery

I am new to this group but had an ectopic pregnancy a month ago. I had the surgery and was able to "save" my tube. I have been healing well but I have noticed that sex is quite painful in certain positions and a dull pain afterwards. Is this normal? Does it get any better or should I see my doctor about this? I don't bleed or anything, just overly sensitive and painful at time. Thanks in advance. I
