IUD???

Question

Does anyone have a copper IUD? Have you had any problems/complications with it? What do you like or dislike about it? I don't want to go on the pill so I'm considering all other options

I had the copper iud inside for nearly 5 years, took it out in Oct last year, and fell pregnant in Dec last year..
It was uncomfortable when the doc was inserting it, but afterwards never felt it. Had lots of Sex, never worried about falling pregnant with it inside..
Totally safe, def getting another one after having my baby

I didn't do the copper but I had the Mirena in for 4.5 years. It hurt to get it inserted but only took about 30 seconds (it felt like contractions). Once it was in, it was nice to not think about it. However, I could notice it at times during sex. It didn't "poke" me but I could just tell that there was something there. Getting it out was so easy and I felt nothing.
