I haven't heard of it but I think it is a damn good idea. I see so many women wrapped up in "why didnt he get me....." or being upset because he didnt spend $200 he only spent $50. I know at least for me and my husband, he deserves a freaking present for putting up with my crazy pregnant self. husbands go through a lot more while we are pregnant than people give them credit for.

I didn't get my husband anything, but he did get me one. A simple rose gold Maya Brenner necklace with our son's first initial (he knew I had been eyeing them since I got pregnant) and a photo album he made of the pregnancy. Both thoughtful, and not super expensive. I was a happy wife.

Right after I have birth, people were always congratulating me. Yes, I did push out a human, but I didn't do it alone. I got my husband a gift because he was there for me and my daughter. Even after I bit his ear almost off...

I don't understand why a father would get a present for himself because you did 99.9% of the work lol. Maybe get him a messenger diaper bag or something. If I wanted to get my husband a watch I'd do it as a 'just because' gift or for a holiday, not "I carried your baby for 9 months and pushed the baby out, here's a gift for YOU" I'm not that nice lol

I'm getting my SO a replacement Cartier Love bracelet since he lost his when travelling (security made him take it off then he forgot it) so I'll do that! Possibly engrave it too!
His was white gold but it seems they stopped doing it.

Is the baby not a good enough gift?? 😂 I didn't get my boyfriend anything and he didn't get me anything. We don't find that sort of thing necessary.
