Is this real?

Hey guys okay so me and my bf have been trying for a while to get pregnant but no luck. So I stopped trying bc I thought it would just never happen for me. Well I was suppose to start my period 4 days ago. nothing. sore breast mood swings I been really hungry. But I've had symptoms before. I've had a late period before. So I am just thinking that it's just nothing. today I had a light pink spot when I used the bathroom and now I'm having brownish discharge. I didn't know you could have implantation bleeding when you period is suppose to come. So I'm thinking my period is about to start but I looked it up and ppl have had that happen to them before. my bf thinks I'm pregnant but it's just hard to believe bc I've put it in my head that I'm never gonna be pregnant. im gonna take a test soon but what do y'all think?
