Curling iron

So I used my curling iron as a dildo because I was really desperate and feel really shaky and scared. Please don't judge me I know how stupid this was. Could I die? Since it's like metal? I've never used it on my hair it's sat there for like a year but I cleaned it before I used it. I've heard of girls using foreign things before and I have before and think I'm just anxious and really fine. Help
