Do you have an open phone policy with your partner? My phone is open at all times to my fiancé, and I have no problem telling him passwords if he asks (though he doesn't). I have nothing to hide and want there to be complete trust between us. However, he will not so much as to let me glance at his phone while he's sitting next to me, much less let me have a passcode or god forbid let me LOOK at his phone. Plus, I know he snapchats and texts this other girl. So I feel like he's hiding something with those two problems put together. I feel like these behaviors can create distrust in a relationship. So I guess my thought is that those who are in a relationship should at least be somewhat open about what's going on on their social media and texts, and not be 100% secretive.

My SO has his thumb print in my phone and mine is in his. Equality of privacy is so important.

I mean we have each other's pass codes because we use each other's phones sometimes. If he's driving, I'll read a text for him or something. Or I'll play a game on his phone. He does the same with mine. He doesn't go through my texts and I don't go through his. That's gross to me. I don't have anything to hide, I just don't want to feel like a child when I'm supposed to be a wife.

it's kind of complicated a little for me. my SO and I have an open phone policy but we really don't use the others phone. of course he does "hate" when I look over his shoulder while he's on his phone but just because it can be rude, though I do it when spacing out.

Idc ... i only grt upset when he texts and drives ... like babe just tell me what to say ... most times its just his parents or his friends and even then when i ask him who is is he will tell me what they texted him anyway ... plus im too good for him to cheat ... plus he has his fingerprint on my phone

I think if you have nothing to hide that's fine but I find it odd when couples feel the need to go through their partners phones.

He knows my passcode and I don't care, but he took my thumbprint out of his phone. He doesn't like me snooping, but will unlock it for me if I ask

We have each other's passwords as we play games, set alarms, google things on each other's phones sometimes. We also occasionally read texts if the other is busy. We don't go through texts, emails etc. though, that's just rude af!

We both have thumb print and password to each other's phone but neither one of us have used to to search or check up on one another more for emergencies or if one of our phones has died and we need to make a chalk or to take pictures xx
