Shopping advice?

Question

Today my boyfriend and I are going on our last big shopping trip before the arrival of our daughter. I was hoping you ladies could tell me some of the MUST-HAVES for the first few weeks after labor! I'm talking postpartum care for me, things for dad, for the baby, just anything you can think of that helped you get through your first few weeks of parenthood!

Food!! Make some meals & freeze them, get plenty of bottled water of you prefer that over tap, & lots of snack foods if you're breastfeeding. For the baby, swaddle blankets & a wrap or baby carrier, & car seat. You can try mittens, but my son never kept them on.

snacks for late nights or the middle of the night (like 3 different types of granola bars)
i also got a bag of mini chocolates and jolly ranchers for the nurses! it made them look forward to coming and checking on me :)
a couple of those big frozen meals like (stoufers lasagna) so you don't have to cook. 
and maybe paper plates solo cups to cut down on needed to do many dishes at first.

Everybody thinks of the really big things and fancy outfit but very few people think of the practical day today things. I would say getting onesies is a big deal because a lot of people get full outfits and you don't want baby spitting up on all the cute stuff. Also I will definitely get some gripe water. It has save our lives on more than one occasion. I also wish someone had told me about putting pee pads on the changing table. Those cute changing pad covers are just going to get pee and poop on them.

bibs,mittens,burp rags,whatever they let you take from the hospital take lol like the hazel pads,mesh undies,the squirt bottle,the spray,painkillers,have easy meals ready lol
