Abusive relationship 😥

Long story short, i met my ex fell in love in a way i never felt before it was rocky at first but began to get better, sometimes. we would fight and argue like normal couples, but sometimes we would yell and he would grab my by my arms and slam me against the truck just thought it was the beer for his actions. well 6 months later i get pregnant couple weeks later we get into a fight and he pushes me down on our porch then slams me against his truck numerous times knowing that im pregnant. anyways i got a dvp and he wont b round for the pregnancy or the birth. nor do i want him to have her after shes born he snaps way to fast hpw do i no he wont do it to my baby girl too? Am i wrong, bein over protective, or the right thing as a mother? its eating at me everyday
