HELP PLEASE

Hey there.. I keep getting a rash once again very two months or so but right where my vagina and legs meet (the inner hip crease) and its paaaainful as hell but please don't judge but there is a smell aswell, I dry off correctly after the shower.. I have been using pawpaw ointment and within a week it goes but honestly it's so bad I want to prevent it completely has anyone else had this? My gp thinks it's just a sweat rash but I don't know it's bad please help ladies as I start ovulation topping two days onwards and have it again and right now I don't want hubby to see its nasty red and ugh
