I understand your pain, my mother in law is the worst evil human being in the universe. She calls me names and disrespects me and my mother and my family, and says she's done with me cause I have no backbone and that I'm a disgrace as a human being. And my husband being noble, defends me, telling her to leave our lives if she wishes since she always says she wants to so badly. She doesn't know I'm pregnant, nobody does. But idc because she's missing out and we frankly don't give two shits. She's always hated my husband and my brother in law wishing them the worst and death. I'm tired of it. I GET YOU

I personally was on the fence. I feel like it's unfortunate they treat you so bad, but hopefully they would respect you enough to be in your child's life. Not treat her the same way. Do you know why they dislike you? Regardless, I would have a talk with them and let them know if they want to be present in her life, they need to learn to respect you. Maybe just try talking to them. I do feel that they should at least get a chance to be present.
