Fussy 5 week old - please help!

My 5 wo daughter isn't content unless she's being held. I can't put her in her swing, boppy pillow sitting up, bouncer, play mat, etc. without her crying and upset. The only time I can get her in her swing is after she's very full, and then we have to keep the paci close until she falls asleep. I hate it but I feel like I'm constantly trying to get her to sleep, when she should be having alert times now.

I feel like she's supposed to be playing and happy right now but she's not. Is it me? Is it her? Is this going to last forever? I'm so tired and so lost and I just want my baby girl to be happy. But I'd also like to be able to get a few things done without her screaming. I feel like I'm glued to my chair because she's constantly gotta be in my arms.

Please, someone, help this tired momma out. Will it be like this forever because it sure feels like it.
