Lifestyle change....
So I'm having to make a major lifestyle change due my systemic eczema. I'm on my second pregnancy back to back and my hormones are on major overdrive, causing my eczema to flair up. I've battled this most of my life but in the past year it has gotten out of control, specifically on the palms of my hands. I'm talking cracks, splits, blisters, peeling, soreness, stinging, you name it. With our second baby on the way I decided that I have to find something that will make it stop, because I can't function. I've researched and tried every cream and trick out there, so I'm not looking for advice that way. I recently went to a naturopath and found out that certain foods cause our skin to become inflamed. So I've cut out dairy, gluten, refined sugar, caffeine, and certain vegetables. Basically I'm only eating organic, natural foods and drinking only water or herbal teas. Now, food has always been a source of comfort for me so I'm having a difficult time with this change in diet. That being said, this may be a long shot but, I'm looking for anyone who has had to do something similar and would maybe have some good recipes or some words of encouragement/ advice that they would like to share. Anyone who has gone/ is going thru something like this knows how difficult this battle is and that sometimes you just need to hear from people who are in the same boat ☺️ thankyou in advance!
