late doctor appointment

I just found out I was pregnant around 12 weeks I know it's horrible !!! but I ALWAYS missed my period for months at a time I figured it happened again.. well not this time I just scheduled my first appointment for August 17th and im super excited I'll be 13 weeks in a few days.. im taking my prenatal pills, eating super good and taking care of my body.. anybody else have late appointments? hope everything is okay with my little one.. do you think they'll do an ultrasound since im already far enough or make me wait longer?
