Baby food and formula??

Question

So I buy 5 things of formula for the month, but my daughter has recently started eating the whole thing of the Gerber baby food does that mean I can buy less formula like 3 things and baby food because she'll eat the formula and then an hour before her next bottle I give her baby food which holds her off for a bit. Or is it just a thing you give once a day?
She's 5 and a half months old. 
She can open her mouth for food and swallows.

baby should still have the same amount of formula or a tiny bit less. i would still buy the same amount.

when my kids started baby food I fed it to them 3 times a day ( breakfast, lunch and dinner) and I either gave them a small bottle of formula or baby apple juice. once they started baby foods their formula intact went down maybe one formula bottle in between each meal. but I also didn't started baby foods until 5-6 months.

No.. she needs the same amount of formula until a year. Baby food is a supplement, not replacement, until a year

When you buy the 5 cans do you have any formula that rolls over into the next month!? I would probably buy just 4 cans just to play it safe
