First Deployment

Hi everyone. I've been looking for a good military wife support group and, while we are from Canada, I feel as the support and tips to getting through it are the same.

My fiancé and I are going through our first deployment of several to come. I dont think I was really prepared for it to happen, but I took him to the airport yesterday and it was probably one of the hardest things I've ever done. How does one deal with the sadness? I know it gets better over time, but right now I just can't seem to see the light. I know it'll be okay, but I just don't feel it yet. And I want to stay strong for him.
