Nipple piercing problem?

So I got my nipples pierced quite a while back. I wanna say October? And ive never really had a problem with my right one but my left one has been problems constantly for the past few months (no issue for the first few). 
Basically I get this thing that comes and goes where I get white puss bubbles on my nipple around the left opening and the tip of my nipple itself. Normally I just pop them to get it out until it's the clear puss and then i clean it off and go about my day with no more bump (and a perfectly fine looking nipple) but today I noticed that the tip of my nipple actually turned into a hole. I can't like, see through it to my barbell but I can tell it's a size whole that shouldn't be there. Also, the opening that normally goes back to normal still looks, how should I say, ratchet. I google infection photos and it never looks like them, but I'm wondering if it could be the beginning stages? I wanted to get info or advice before checking with my doctor cuz I really don't want the news that I should take it out if I could solve it by starting day1 of cleaning it again. I included photos. Go see your piercer ASAP. that is not normal, it shows thinning and could be rejecting. STOP popping and poking! if something pops up just let it be! use salien solution or mild soap to clean but leave them alone.

I had issues with my nipple piercing for the entire time I had it in (almost 2 years). It would routinely start to go gross and then go back to being a happy little button over a few months. However when it started to go gross I did a bit of research online and swapped my stainless steel bar for a PTFE plastic bar. It's a soft plastic that's really durable but bends so relieves a bit of the pressure that metal bars can cause and means that it might not flare up and get sore so often, might help for whilst this latest gross blip heals up :)

Yeah you should definitely go to your piercer, they will have ways to fix and heal it without having to take it out, but if you go to your doctor then they will probably just tell you to take it out and let it heal. I had a problem with my belly button and hypertrophic scarring. It was a bubble that could be popped and had a puss discharge &a; it would come back every once in a while. That could very well be your problem too with your nipple but don't take my word, your piercer will know. I also have my nipples pierced too.

Hmm usually clear discharge is just lymph. It would have a greenish or possibly even bloody discharge and may be inflamed if it was infected. Not quite sure about it coming out of your actual nipple itself though. Have you changed the jewelry recently? If so it may be reacting to the jewelry itself and it might be worth switching to a nickel-free material (gold although expensive is always the best option since it has no reaction with the body). I would call the shop where you had it done and see what they say, they get lots of questions and obvs have lots of experience with piercings. I would try to avoid popping the bumps that appear and clean them like normal to make them go away.
