Anyone else's baby hate being "worn?"

We have two carriers that allow me to wear my six week old, a Moby wrap and a 4-in-1 convertible carrier that's supposed to carry her until she's 30 lbs. Both would be so convenient when I'm trying to get housework done or while out shopping/eating at a restaurant. The problem is she absolutely hates them both. She's not just fussy at first. She screams the whole time she's in there, which at first made me think I was using them incorrectly since so many other babies seem to LOVE these tyoes of carriers. Any ideas for helping her ease into this idea? Anyonr else experience this?

Make sure she's not too hot. You may want to try a lightweight wrap or one that has a mesh panel for breathe ability.

My baby didn't like the moby and didn't really like carriers until about 4 months old when she was a little bigger and her legs fit better in the regular carrier. She still gets fussy sometimes in one, but she likes to move around. 8.5 months old. maybe try a ring sling? She might want to look around more.

My son hates being in ours when he's awake. He wants to look around and see what's happening. So my wrap is pretty much only for when he starts to get tired so he will fall asleep. He also fights sleeping, so it's nice to have that to force him to sleep. I think there are just some babies that hate being confined. I couldn't swaddle my son because he would get frustrated.
