Do you think that someone who is sexually abused by their parent is genetically predisposed to br a sex offender?

No. There's some merit to the discussion around genes causing general aggressiveness, and perhaps to sexual attraction. However, actually committing a sex offense is a choice, not a generic determinant.

Circumstance and life experience has nothing to do with genetics. Getting abused by your parent then abusing someone else has nothing to do with genetics. Its psychology.

I don't think it's genetic, but more so behavioral and part of a cycle. You can break that cycle though. 
I won't say where I heard this or who I heard this from...but I know of a man who's family had generations of men with pedophilia and porn addictions. As far back as they could date, every single adult male in this mans family had the problem until it reached him. He essentially broke the cycle and never succumbed to it. And coincidentally he is the last man to carry on his name in the family. He and his wife only had a daughter. 
In my opinion, and from this example, I think it's an illness to a certain extent. But I think when you're taught by example, and have a family with that type of history, then the person is going to think that behavior is "in their blood" or that it's acceptable. Thus, continuing the cycle. If that makes sense...

Also I think your Psychologist might be talking about the warrior gene. And I also think you're a little confused.
Genetic predisposition doesn't mean your DNA changes from something happening to you, it means you're born that way. 
The warrior gene is a gene that's been linked to aggression and criminal activity in general (not just sex offending), however, that isn't an excuse to be a criminal because despite having a predisposition, humans posses free will and intellect allowing them to make choices outside of any instinct or predisposition, one big thing that sets us apart from other animals.

No. But I once read something on abuse. It said that most people who abuse their children WERE abused as children, however many children who were abused as kids don't abuse their kids.
It could be something like that 🤷🏼‍♀️

Genetic, no. I do believe based on personal experience and otherwise, that being sexually abused does have the potential to influence sexually abusive behavior. That is psychology, not genetics.
