Rewarding kids for good grades

I don't know if this topic has been posted before, if so I apologize. But do you agree or disagree on rewarding kids for getting good grades in school??? I personally think there is nothing wrong with it and I would love to brighten my kids childhood up some more with exciting things like rewards if they do good. I do not believe that participation trophies = crybaby adults, like so many people think. I remember when I was little and being so happy and excited whenever my parents would surprise me with something for good work and I know I didn't turn out like a crybaby entitled adult lol. I just think kids are kids and there's nothing wrong with rewarding them. Aaaaaannndddddd I also know that everyone is going to raise their kids how they want and thats fine so before I get the "mind your own buisness" comments I will state that this is not a judging patenting post this is simply curiosity on what are other people's opinions.
