Please share your experience if you had a baby with a flat head

My baby is 6 months and I'm wondering if I should be pursuing treatment. My pediatrician pointed out what I already knew (she has a flat side in the back of her head) but said it should round out now that she can sit on her own and should be crawling soon. I know that the window for treatment is small so I'm just wondering if I should insist that we see a specialist? Or just wait it out?

I'm already doing what I can at home by always repositioning her, doing lots of tummy time, holding her, etc. The problem started because she was sleeping 8+ hours straight from the time she was 3 months and always favored one side 😔
