Do you hate people taking photos of your baby with the flash on?

Most people have common sense and don't use the flash when taking photos of a baby, and while I know the flash can't reaaally blind them, it hurts my eyes at the best of times so of course it's gonna bloody irritate a baby's eyes! My husband and I were at a family birthday lunch and an extended family member continued to take several photos of our baby with various people with the flash on despite my husband telling him after a photo was taken when we arrived that bub doesn't like the flash. This guy (the father of my uncle's wife) couldn't give a damn whether it hurt my daughters eyes and caused a tantrum or not because at least he was getting good photos. He came over to us while I was soothing my daughter because she'd started crying hysterically after he'd used flash with a photo he took of her with my grandmother and he went to take another freakin photo. She still had tears in her eyes from the last one! My husband told him to fuck off him with camera or he'd shove it down his throat. Bit harsh, I know, but he's a protective papa and his baby girl was crying her little heart out over it.

Does anybody else hate the camera flash being used with their baby by others? How do you deal with it politely? We tried to be polite at the beginning but still would up with a crying four month old 😔
