C-Sections?

C-Sections anyone? So my child will not turn & they are going to try to turn her next Weds. SCAARRRYY! & This is my first, if they cannot turn her I have to have a C-Section....so I want to know things like..how did you feel afterward? How painful was recovery on a scale 1-10? And how long did it take to recover? Are you embarrassed of your scar now? Etc.

I had an emergency csection and I've heard planned always go better. Either way I think the worst part is getting up from sitting or laying down after . I took pain meds until day 5 and felt starting to get back to myself at 10 days. I think days 3-5 were worst for pain. Take your time moving and ask for help. I know it's major surgery and if I had option of vaginal I would have bc u clearly heal faster but whatever gets baby here healthy I'm all for. :)

i had a c-section almost 4 years ago, it was not planned. you will be completely numb after you are done for awhile, im not going to sugar coat it, it hurts when you move, its major surgery, dont try and be a hero, if you need to sit and rest for a little bit then do so, take the pain meds if you need them, dont make the recovery any worse than it needs to be. My scar doesnt bother me looks wise, every now and then when i sneeze it feels like it pulls on it and it hurts a little but thats all the pain ive had.

First off, just know everyone has a different experience. With that said, my pain afterwards was like a 12 out of 10 and it took about 4 weeks to really recover. My scar didn't really bother me until this second pregnancy. Now it itches, tingles and hurts all the time in this 3rd trimester. I want a VBAC this time around 🤞🏼
