Can I use dove soap on my infant?

I'm out of town and forgot baby soap and until I can get out to the store. is dove soap sensitive enough to use on my 5 month old? Or wouldi be safer using water?

My doctor gave us regular Dove when baby was a month old.

It depends on the baby. When my son was born that's what they used in the hospital to bathe him, and his skin tolerated it fine.

Just use it for a day or two and check on his skin. If it gets too dry or whatnot.

I would just use water because the regular dove soap may affect your baby's skin. It may not be the same as baby soap.

Yes. I started using the dove baby soap as soon as it came out. I loveeeeee it. Leaves my baby skin so soft and doesn't dry her skin. It really moisturize her skin.
