Sister invited me and LO to the beach tomorrow suppose to be 82°F... DD is 6 months about to be 7 months on Sunday... really appreciate it if you share your experience, tips, must haves and all... just want some help here as FTM thank you 😘

We live in San Diego, so are experienced beachgoers! Yes, just lots of skin protection (hat, long-sleeved rash guard, sunscreen) + bring shade for sure! 🏝

Take a shade umbrella or tent, be ready to leave once baby has had enough (will tire out quick if in the water), lots of extra milk and/or water. Also take a squirty type water bottle to squirt clean sand out of bottom.

we are taking our son to Hawaii next month. He'll be almost 7 months. I've been researching  everything like crazy because I know how intense the sun is there! definitely invest in long sleeve rash guards. they make them with SPF built in and unlike sunscreen, they won't wash away. you also want to get a hat that ties on - they also make these with SPF lol - and I can't recommend enough baby bandz sunglasses. They velcro around the back of baby's head so they don't come off. you don't need to put sunscreen where your baby is covered but you do want to apply everywhere else and make sure to reapply on a regular basis.
