Am I wrong?

Am I wrong for cutting my daughter's grandmother out of her life? So her and my boyfriend got into it and in the argument she uses the phrase "chink-n*gger" I'm mostly black, mixed with Filipino and white. I don't think this is forgivable. I am so hurt and it doesn't matter if she is referring to me or not, my daughter is a part of me... she only needs people that love her in her life and if you could even say that, that is not love.

I've cut my mother out of my life almost completely. She doesn't even know my address or my phone number. She has never met my daughter, only seen pictures. Didn't know I was pregnant until I was about to give birth, and only found out cause someone told her. (Even though I asked that no one speak about it to her...) and I honestly don't think she will ever meet her.

I cut my mom out back in 2013 while she and my dad were going through a divorce. I was ready for a clean slate. When I got pregnant, I decided to reach out and attempt to rebuild something with her (very cautiously). We live 3,000 miles away from everyone so I kept her updated on the baby by sending her baby bump photos and updates and then by the time I was 7 or 8 months, it all fell apart again. I haven't talked to her since then. My daughter is almost 3 months old and as of right now, I have zero intentions of reaching back out or allowing her to be in our daughters life. I don't feel bad one bit. You have to do what you have to do.

Omg that's horrible.
Although this doesn't amount to the word you heard. My mother in law uses the word " retard" or " retarded" for everything she would talk about. I had to talk to my husband to talk with her about using that word in front of the kids. And I told him I wasn't going to bring the kids around her if she continued to say it.
He talked with her and she ended up apologizing.and hasn't used it since( besides a couple slip-ups that she apologized for).
Maybe talk with her and if it doesn't stop then the kids don't need to be around.
