Diabetes after delivery
I'm 31 weeks and I have type 2 diabetes. my blood sugar is under control with the help of insulin that I began taking at 6 months. I'm hoping that once baby comes, that my blood sugar will return to how it was and I can get off insulin. my question is, if by any chance my blood sugar is high during breastfeeding, does that effect the Baby in any way? I know it can during pregnancy, just haven't heard anything about it afterwards.
