women who have/had implant do you recommend it?

im considering getting a birth control implant so I can have safer sex with my bf but I want to know your opinions on it. Ive been on the pill before and it made me literally psychotic and I just couldnt take it anymore from how it messed with my emotions so im really apprehensive about getting on another birth control. weve had a condem rip once which was scary as hell so I really wanna be on a birth control as extra protection. what do you guys think?

I'm 15 and my mom made me get the implant and my period has been waco but I don't get cramps at all and my period has been very light

I've had mine for 3 months almost 4 months but I love it!! I mean I don't get a period and it makes me get nervous but I read about the implant and it's so super effective you don't really need to worry. The only negative symptom I get is I get some back pain and I spot randomly

I was on it for 6yrs. 2 implants in total. Out n back in same appointment when it ran out. No af... I did get pms every month the week leading up to my af, few minor cramps, sore boobs and lots of chocolate without the hassle or mess. It's by far the easiest contraception I've been on. Doesn't hurt one bit. 100% reliable for myself. Grab your upper arm, tug it a little... that's exactly what it feels like having it put in, or changed. After when numbing wears off, your arm aches a little. It will bruise but defo not painful at all :)
