breast pump - chargeable worth it?

Kristina

I'm looking at pumps covered by my insurance and debating between the spectra v1 and spectra v2. I plan to initially breastfeed but will be returning to work. The v2 is 100% covered or I can pay an additional $65 to upgrade and get the v2. The difference between them is really v1 has a chargeable battery that can last an hour+ where v2 you must plug in (outlet or car charger). I don't mind paying the extra if I'm going to use the battery...but I can't think of where I would be where I need to pump without an outlet (work in corporate office w/ nice pump rooms, have a car charger, don't travel for work, etc.). So - anyone else have this debate and where did you land and why? and for pumping moms - anywhere you pumped or needed to pump where you wished you had a chargeable battery pump?
