Longest summer ever!!! And gaining a step dad

I can not wait! My son Zealand (7 years old) comes back from Miami ( he spends the summers with his dad) on the 19th. Any other mommies let their children spend the summer with the father?

This summer has been so special because I met the love of my life and got engaged. Does anyone have tips on helping our family transition? It's always just been me and my son. I have been single for 7 years. I never brought any man into my sons life. My fiancé and I skype him daily. We have told him of course. So it's not a surprise. I just want my son to feel comfortable. He will also be starting at a new school. There are a lot of changes happening.
