Traditional or Baby Led Weaning?

Hi March mamas! My little one is 4 1/2 months old and I'm just starting to think about what I'll do at 6 months! Are you going traditional spoons and purées or baby led weaning with finger foods? I have no idea what to do, so give reasons! Thanks xx

We are going to try BLW,  I am reading a book on it right now and we will start at 6 months, whic  he will be in the 22nd. It is supposed to be better way for them to develop a healthy relationship with food as they are feeding themselves and know when they are hungry or not rather than us sticking a spoon in their faces.

We're doing BLW because her brother is very picky and had to be spoon fed for a long time. She also brings things to her mouth so I think she'll do good. She already hit all the milestones but we still have 3 weeks till she's 6 months.

I prefer doing purees and finger foods and letting my babies decided what they like and don't like. My 20 month old still prefers her veggies mashed up and proteins whole. As long as she's getting good nutrition I don't worry. My 5 month old really likes purees so we're going with that for now.
