self feeding

so my daughter will be 7 months on the 19th, she has been eating solids since 5.5 months and loves them. I have tried BLW and she loves the food but doesn't seem to like to pick it up. she will whine until I pick it up and put it in her mouth. same with her spoonable food. she has no interest in trying it and when I try and hand her something she puts her arms behind her head and leans forward. she picks toys up just fine and I put puffs or Cheerios on her trat so she can practice but she doesn't seem to understand. Do I have a prissy girl who just doesn't like getting her hands dirty or should I worry?
