Hypothyroidism/Hashimotos question...
I'm so glad there is a group here to ask a question! I m 40 years old and suffer from Hashimotos. My hypothyroidism is under control and my last test in January confirmed it. I have lost 45 lbs and I'm back to my previous weight. My question is this, I am late for my period. I know stress, cold, etc can make you ovulate later but I do chart. I'm approximately 15-18dpo. The only reason I don't know for sure what dpo I am is because we had to go out of town to visit a sick relative around the time I would have ovulated and I didn't have an opportunity to take my bbt. My pre-o temps are alway in the 97 range and post-o are in the 98's. All of my temps since coming home have been in the 98's confirming that I O'd during the trip. My temp did go down today, and I cramping started. I even had brown when I wiped once this morning but then nothing else. I still have creamy cm. I'm late and I'm wondering if my condition can make my luteal phase longer? Or if it's making it harder for my period to come. I've had my disease for 4 years and the only time my luteal phase has been off was during my initial postpartum period 2 1/2 years ago. I should add I took a hot this morning and it was negative. Thanks in advance!
