BFing Mommas - how often is your baby nursing?

My babe is almost 7 months and started solids at 5 months. The girl LOVES to eat. She only nurses before naps during the day so 2-3 times and then 2-4 times at night depending how her day went. Not sure if this is enough, seems like she's losing interest in nursing but still too early to transition.  She eats 3 solid meals and some snacks each day too with the odd bottle of "juice" (water with a splash of real fruit juice). pumping is a task and I don't want to use up my small stash so I don't want to give her a bottle of my milk and no interest in giving her any formula.

Sounds OK, though you may want to cut back a little on the food, I would definitely at least cut out the snacks and juice and replace that with breastmilk, I know you said no formula but if you can't pump that much formula or breastmilk is the most important thing for them before 1, so supplementing with formula would be better than drinking juice and water that has no nutritional value... But at 7 months her diet should still be mostly milk! Though I know all babies are different so you know what she needs!

i noticed my guy loosing interest in nursing and noticed it was around when we started the sippy cup. It was easier to get liquids from so he would rarher do that then nurse. I caught on early and now we give him his water in a botttle and bf is going better.

My daughter is the same. She eats 3 meals of solids 3x/day and nurses about 5 or 6. Sometimes I worry that its not enough, too, but I just keep offering. It doesn't help that now shes at the age where she gets distracted easily while nursing!

My guy is still going STRONG with bf 😩 I mean, it's GOOD that supply is holding strong and he is healthy, but also it's driving me nuts, especially at night. He eats at LEAST 6-8 times per 24 hours. I'm trying to space him out. I started solids at 4 months and they are STILL hit and miss and even when he does eat a bit it's very little. The other "problem" is I think he is getting most of his calories at night with those feeds, need to swap around to the day. 
Anyway! For your girl I would say just keep doing what you're doing. I don't think its a good idea to nix the BF just yet if you don't want to do formula

6-7 times a day. My daughter won't eat baby food so she's still only on breastmilk, but we give her little bites of our food but not really enough to consider it a meal

Nursing every around every 2 hours during the day with "meals" twice a day every other day. Her night time sleep habits have been changing due to transitioning to just two naps and some over tiredness, but as of right now she eats 1 time at night as well (usually between 3-5am). She'll be 7 months on Tuesday.
