He doesn't text me again...

So I've been talking every day with this guy and I'm starting to develop feelings.

Yesterday we talked at around 1 pm and he said he's gonna sleep and will text me later when he wakes up.

But then at 12 pm in the afternoon the NEXT DAY he still hasn't messaged me yet but he's active on social media. I don't want to message him first because I wanted to see how long he would make me wait and I'm stubborn. I usually message him and always reply so fast to him I feel like I'm the one needing him.

I don't want to annoy him as well or seem clingy. On a few occasions I also noticed he's talking to other girls but I didn't think much since we're not even dating.

Should I just let him go? Or message him and lose my pride?
