Paci vs. Big Girl Bed

Okay so here is my dilemma. My daughter will be 2 1/2 next month and I am wanting to transition her to a big girl bed to get her used to it since my husband and I are trying for baby number 2. We have broke my daughter from a paci during the day, but still has it at night time and nap time. So I eventually want to take that from her completely (by her 3rd birthday), but it is just so hard. That is her complete love. So what do you think would be better to transition her to the big girl bed first and let her have the paci at night still or pull the paci first and then transition her to a big girl bed? I am just wanting some opinions please. I asked my husband what he thinks and he said idk...lol and that's a big help lol Also if any of you ladies have advice on how to help break her from her love of a paci. I have tried a few things and nothing is working. Thanks ladies!
