Am I crazy??

Question

I'm 25, he is 27.. We are very committed to each other, we love each other very much and those shouldn't be the only reasons. 
I want to know your opinions, an I crazy for wanting to try for a baby even tho we live in his mums basement? 
I don't want to be having a child in my thirties (no offence to anybody who had a child in their thirties) for personal preference.

I don't think you're crazy. But I don't think having a baby right now is a good idea. You need to be morel financially stable which means being able to afford your own place. It doesn't have to be a palace. In my opinion his Mom's basement isn't a great place to raise a child.

You still have 5 more years before you are 30 so get your own place and then talk about it

Try for babies once to marry. Right now either of you could just get up and go. I would need a law abiding commitment. The basement is not the best idea... I would at least get a one bedroom. Me and my husband have a tiny place, but it's ours.

Please don't take this the wrong way but when I read your story I thought... priorities ... it's normal to want a child and that's ok you don't want kids in your thirties but if you want children just acknowledge that and start prioritizing and getting established to have a child make goals and use that to to push yourself to having them done in order of having a child. Use that as motivation :)

No your not crazy. My boyfriend and I agreed to have at least one baby before 30 but wouldn't try until we were 25. We had our daughter just after I turned 25...we started a little early haha anyways we live with his mom but we pay for the house entirely. We didn't plan it to be this way but it's just her and she can't pay for this house on her own. It really depends on the situation. A stable environment is definitely needed.
